The murder of James Bulger took place on the 12th of February 1993,
when James was only two years old. He was with his mother in The
Strand shopping centre in Bootle, Liverpool when he got abducted
and then later on murdered by two ten year old boys, Jon Venables
and Robert Thompson.
In this blog I am going to talk through the stages of a criminal
investigation and how they apply to this case.
